My name is Eric Thorson.  The 2023-2024 school year will be my second year teaching in the St. Charles School District.  Before teaching at St. Charles, I taught for 3 years at Lewiston-Altura High School and 6 years at Southland High School.  Throughout my first ten years of teaching, I have had the privilege of teaching various mathematics courses.  I will be teaching Algebra 2, College Algebra, Geometry and Math Skills 1 this year at St. Charles.  In all of these classes, we will use MyOpenMath and Khan Academy for our day-to-day needs.

Here is a look at my daily schedule for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year:
  • Period 1 (8:10 - 8:55):  Algebra 2
  • Period 2 (8:59 - 9:44):  Math Skills 1
  • Period 3 (9:48 - 10:33):  Geometry
  • Period 4 (10:37 - 11:22):  Prep
  • Period 5 (11:52 - 12:38):  OT 8
  • Period 6 (12:42 - 1:27):  Algebra 2
  • Period 7 (1:31 - 2:16):  Algebra 2
  • Period 8 (2:20 - 3:05):  Study Hall

I am looking forward to continuing to make connections with the students at St. Charles High School and the St. Charles community!
