We are excited to invite your child to attend our 3rd annual KINDERGARTEN BOOT CAMP 2019!
During K-Camp, your child will explore many things and learn about being a kindergarten student. Your child will enjoy learning about the daily routines in kindergarten through fun inside and outside experiences. These experiences are designed to help reinforce independence, socialization, self help skills, and creative play. Please have your child dressed appropriately.
The school will provide a snack each day which will help the children learn about the lunch line process that will be utilized in Kindergarten. Class will take place in a current Kindergarten room and be taught by both School Readiness and Kindergarten staff.
This program is provided to you at no cost. Transportation is not provided for this class. Drop off and pick-up will be at the front doors of the Elementary School each day. The learning days will be Tuesday through Thursday with two options available for classes.
Class will begin at 8:15 am and will end at 11:15 a.m. for both sessions.
Through the generosity of area churches, youth groups, resource center and other donations, students this year will be offered a light lunch. Students will be waked by adults to the United Methodist Church, a block from school for lunch. Students will return to the elementary school to be picked up. If you would like your child to stay for lunch they can be picked up at 12:00 pm. (You can choose the lunch option when you fill out a registration form.)
